re:publica Vienna - THE CITY OF TOMORROW - JÜRGEN CZERNOHORSZKY , SIGRID STAGL , BARBARA TRACHTE , LISA WOHLGENANNT

Vienna’s Executive City Councillor for Climate Jürgen Czernohorszky, ecological economist Sigrid Stagl and Barbara Trachte, Belgian Green politician and Member of the Brussels Parliament, bring together politics, research and hands-on experience from two major European cities. They will debate what a climate-friendly city can look like when it also has to remain affordable, liveable and fair. Where should cities invest? What needs to change in housing, mobility and public space? And what can Vienna learn from Amsterdam, and vice versa? A conversation about power, money and the very practical question of how the climate-neutral city becomes a project that is both ecologically necessary and socially viable.
